Keynotes, panels, and workshops that help high achievers turn failure into fuel and find power in their “undone” moments.
I give talks that help people reframe failure, embrace change, and rise stronger.
With decades of experience in athletics, academia, and leadership, I offer a rare mix of scholarly insight and lived wisdom. Whether it’s a locker room or lecture hall, I’ve coached, mentored, and walked beside people through every kind of personal and professional transition.
My talks are built on heart-felt stories, research, and principles that drive real change. I speak at leadership summits, athletic programs, universities, corporate events, and faith-based gatherings. I also offer coaching intensives and media appearances that align with my mission: to help people discover their purpose, even in the pain.

Toby Brooks, PhD, MBA, ATC, CSCS Speaker. Author. Educator. Coach. Host of Becoming UnDone.
I’m a first-generation college kid who grew up on a farm in Southern Illinois and ended up earning five degrees (finishing up #6 in 2027 and already started #7), leading academic programs, and launching a podcast heard around the world. Along the way, I’ve failed hard, lost my identity more than once, and come back better every time.
Today, I speak to audiences who are navigating what I call “undone” seasons, when what once defined them is gone and they’re asking, “What now?” Through story, science, and soul, I help them rewrite the answer.
From conference keynotes to campus retreats, my sessions blend storytelling, strategy, and a whole lot of soul. Each one is tailored to spark clarity, connection, and comeback.

Looking for a conversation that’s equal parts grit, humor, and heart? Whether your audience includes coaches, educators, high achievers, or everyday warriors, I love diving into stories of resilience, transformation, and second chances.
